Buying questions
What does “confirmed at order” mean?
Two items — the IP Ownership Audit and Expert Contract Review — are jurisdiction-gated, and for these your order is confirmed before any payment is taken. Place the order, tell us the scope and governing law, and we confirm eligibility within one business day. Only on confirmation is any payment taken. If we can’t take the engagement, nothing is charged and nothing is owed — and we’ll point you to the closest alternative (the corresponding kit, or a licensed lawyer where that’s what the matter needs).
Can you invoice us / work with a PO?
Yes — on request, anything on this page can be bought by purchase order and bank transfer, with no card involved. That includes the self-serve kits: if your procurement process needs a PO raised, an invoice in hand and payment by transfer, we set the order up that way instead of at the checkout. The invoice is issued by Xprofesso LLC for the exact fixed fee shown here, carries your PO and billing details, and — for EU and UK businesses with a valid VAT ID — applies the reverse charge. Kits are released, and fixed-fee work scheduled, on receipt of payment.
To set up PO or invoice-only billing, email the founder directly at founder@xprofesso.com with the items you want and your PO or billing details, and we’ll send the invoice the same day. (Buying by card as normal? You still get a Stripe receipt and a VAT-compliant invoice automatically — nothing extra to do.)
How is VAT handled?
All prices exclude VAT. EU and UK business buyers with a valid VAT ID pay under the reverse-charge mechanism — we collect and validate your VAT ID at order, no VAT is added, and your invoice carries the reverse-charge notation your accountant expects. Buyers outside the EU/UK (for example the US) are not charged EU VAT. Purchases without a valid business VAT ID may have VAT added where the law requires it.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Every Standard assessment is backed by a money-back guarantee: if you’re not happy with the deliverable, say so on the walkthrough call and we refund the fee — no forms, no friction. Founder on Call carries the same promise: if you don’t leave with clear next steps, the call is free. Kits are digital goods delivered instantly, so they’re covered by the refund terms in our Terms rather than a blanket guarantee. Refunds are issued by Xprofesso LLC to your original payment method — card payments are refunded via Stripe; bank transfers are returned to the paying account.
Who is the seller, and whose terms apply?
Xprofesso LLC (30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA) is the seller of record for every transaction; card payments are processed by Stripe, and bank-transfer invoices are payable to Xprofesso LLC directly. Our Terms govern the purchase. What you’re buying is assessments, documents and consulting support — not the restricted practice of law, and no lawyer–client relationship is created; bespoke contract work is jurisdiction-gated as shown on each service page.
