Because it’s a scoping call, not a consultation — twenty minutes tells us both whether there’s a fit, and you leave with a direction either way. The work itself is always a scoped, fixed-fee engagement.

Is this restricted legal advice?

No. It’s a scoping call with our founder — a senior compliance and contracts practitioner — for general guidance and industry practice: how companies like yours actually handle the problem, what market-standard looks like, and how to prioritise. It is general guidance, not individualised legal advice; no lawyer–client relationship or privilege is created, and Xprofesso LLC is not a law firm.

What we’ll answer: how to think through a compliance, contract, IP or AI Act problem; which instrument fits; how to sequence a fix; what to watch for before you sign.

What we won’t: apply the law to your specific facts and tell you what’s lawful in your case, give a formal legal opinion or enforceability view, or advise on litigation or a live dispute. If your question needs a regulated lawyer, we’ll say so on the call and point you to one in the right jurisdiction.
